The Registry

Becoming a Registred Provider

The Registry will give you, the worker a greater opportunity to find IHSS employment that fits your preferred schedule, location and work environment. The Registry may also help you find employment more quickly than through other means. The Public Authority will be providing on-going training classes for both the IHSS consumer and providers. The current rate of pay for IHSS providers is $7.11 per hour. While experience as a home-care worker is helpful, it is not required to be on the Registry. There is no charge to be listed on the Registry. Registry services are free to both home-care providers and IHSS consumers.
